Most Famous Case: Salem Witch Trials
​On September 19, 1692 a man named Giles Corey was Pressed to death for refusing to plead guilty or not guilty to an accusation of witchcraft (or wizardry as he was male).   His dying words, in response to the court's request for him to enter a plea  were “More weight”
